Baby- and Toddler Circus
The baby and toddler circus is one of the forms of social circus, where parent and child can try different forms of circus together in a permissive environment. The social circus is a good way to support parenthood. During a vacation of play and fun, you can realize important things about your own parenting.
The purpose is to provide a child-oriented opportunity to get to know art and culture using circus methods. Through doing things together, the child's motor skills develop and the adult gets light exercise. The activity provides means for supporting early interaction and support for parenting. The most important thing is the pleasant moment shared by the child and the parent and the experiences of success. The groups also serve as peer support for parents of young children.
Baby circus is a joint circus moment between baby and parent. It includes acrobatics, juggling and balancing, but no prior skills are required.
The most important thing is the unhurried moment the baby and the parent share together. The hobby is suitable for parents of all ages, but the baby should be around 6 months to 1 year old. What to bring: Casual clothes, a gym mat (if available), a drinking bottle and an open circus mind.
The activity proceeds on the baby's terms and the tuokio lasts about 30-40 minutes, depending on the babies' endurance. After the ceremony, there is coffee/tea and the possibility to stay for a snack.
Acrobatics, juggling, balancing... The most important thing, however, is a pleasant moment and shared hobby between child and parent. The hobby is suitable for parents of all ages, but the age of the toddler should be around 1-2 years.
Bring casual clothes, a gym mat (if available), a drinking bottle and an open circus mind. The activities are child-oriented and the moment lasts about 45 minutes, depending on the toddlers' endurance. After the session, there is a coffee/tea and the possibility to stay for a snack. The course includes three meetings and the course can accommodate a total of 8 child/parent pairs.
